Skills & Expertise
Your guide and co-ordinator Sue Tasher has been involved with Indian food and Kerala for many years. Sue operates an award winning Kerala takeaway, and has worked along side some of the UK's finest Kerala chefs.
Sue also has run several cookery schools which have been very well attended and sold out on many occasions.
With an interest in Indian culture and food Sue has also co ordinated & exhibited at many food festivals in the UK.
Sue fell in love with Kerala 20 years ago when she sponsored a young lady from a local village, they became friends and Sue has helped her to achieve a life long ambition to become a civil engineer, with dedication and commitment to her adoptive family. This brought Sue to Kerala year after year. Sue fell in love with the cuisine and way of life and has been working with CGH Earth hotels on bespoke hands-on cookery tours for many years. Sue has become to know the way of life and understands how spices are used in each and every dish. We stay at many of the CHG Hotels during our stay and our Kerala Cookery Lessons are provided by the Head Chef's of these Hotels.
